Private Preserve:  The Essential Wine Accessory.
The History of Private Preserve: Private Preserve™ was invented by Scott Farmer who at one time was the partner in a winery in California. He noticed that in wineries inert gas was used to preserve wine while it was stored in tanks, barrels and carboys. Upon further inquiry he learned that purified carbon dioxide, nitrogen and argon gases were being piped into these containers in order to prevent oxidation. Scott knew that most restaurants at the time were hesitant to offer their high-end wine by the glass because at the end of the night the unused wine would have to be thrown away along with the profits. Scott decided to invent a system to bring the benefits of inert gas wine preservation to bottled wine. Scott was able to formulate mixture of inert gases which resulted in Private Preserve, a way to preserve wine in bottles.
Instructions:
  • Use Private Preserve every time you pour and store a bottle of wine.
  • Install the extension straw found on the side of the can into the spray nozzle and insert into the bottle neck.
  • Spray for 1 second and then spray four more short bursts when preserving a 750ml bottle. Add one extra 1 second spray for larger bottles.
  • Recork at once and store standing up. Consider using a TullyTopper™ as your recorker.
